Forest Academy Named National Behaviour and Attendance Hub

We are incredibly proud to share that Forest Academy has been appointed as a National Attendance and Behaviour Hub school—one of only 21 schools nationally selected in the first wave of a Department for Education initiative to support attendance and behaviour in schools across the country.
This prestigious appointment places Forest Academy amongst a group of only 90 schools nationally, recognised for their impact, consistency, and values-led leadership in two of the most important areas of school life: attendance and behaviour.
The recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to high expectations, strong relationships, and a nurturing approach that enables every child to thrive. While we serve a community with significant levels of disadvantage, we continue to achieve excellent outcomes through a culture of belonging and shared responsibility.
As a national hub, Forest Academy will now have the opportunity to support other schools, sharing strategies and best practice to improve experiences and outcomes for pupils beyond our own community.
This achievement would not have been possible without the incredible support of our families. Thank you for everything you do to ensure children attend regularly, arrive ready to learn, and contribute positively to our school community.
Together, we continue to demonstrate what is possible when high standards are combined with care, consistency, and collaboration.
