MPs Visit Forest Academy to See Healthy Relationships Programme in Action

Forest Academy was delighted to welcome Natasha Irons MP and Director Lib Peck for a special visit to see the impact of our healthy relationships and nurture programme.

The visit provided an opportunity to showcase the powerful work being delivered in partnership with Nurture UK and Tender Education and Arts. Together, these programmes support pupils to understand healthy relationships, personal boundaries, respect and emotional wellbeing.

During the visit, guests met with pupils and staff, observed sessions in action and heard directly from children about how the programme has strengthened their confidence and understanding. It was a valuable moment to demonstrate how nurture-informed practice and relationship education are embedded into daily school life.

We were honoured to host Natasha Irons MP, Lib Peck, Arti Sharma (CEO of Nurture UK) and colleagues from Tender. Their visit highlighted the importance of strong partnerships in promoting pupil wellbeing and safeguarding.

This was a proud moment for our school community and a powerful recognition of the work taking place to ensure every child feels safe, respected and empowered.
